The Rock 'n' Roll Preacha

Greg Glatz is a guitar-rockin', Camaro-drivin', Jesus-lovin' preacher who hosts The Greg and Marlo Show on CJOB 68. An ordained minister with a 16-year track record as the lead pastor of Central Baptist Church, Greg also plays lead guitar for several Winnipeg projects, including the B-Side Apostles with the legendary Larry Updike. In his spare time, the Preacha indulges his love for high-speed Mac computers by freelancing in audio/video production and hand-coded web and database design.

In addition to hosting The Greg and Marlo Show, Greg has guest-hosted The Nighthawk on CJOB 68 and appeared on CJOB 68’s Richard Cloutier Reports, Mike McIntyre’s Crime & Punishment, the CJOB 68 Morning Show with Larry Updike, the Nighthawk with regular host Geoff Currier, and on the nationally-syndicated Adler OnLine with Charles Adler. Greg’s work was featured in front page stories in the Winnipeg Free Press in 2008 and 2009, along with his guitar collection and passion for music.

Greg has a B.A. and M.Div, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in the emerging church at George Fox University in Portland, OR. He is developing a series of courses for the Certificate in Theology offered by the University of Winnipeg's Faculty of Theology. Emerging Church 1 is being offered in January 2010.

Greg was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is proud to call the Peg his home. He is married, with two grown children.
